On September 30, 2019, OHB Hellas organized its first Space Industry Day. The event, held under the auspices of the Greek-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Griechenland), gave the Greek industry as well as several universities and research organizations an opportunity to showcase their space-related products, services and technologies to OHB. Over 55 entities, belonging to the public or private sector, came to the Ecali Club in the northern suburbs of Athens to get in contact with the OHB SE group and learn about the objectives of OHB Hellas. Dr. Kolja auf der Heide, Director Group Supply Chain Management, presented an overview over the OHB SE group and described the latest developments and future priorities. The event also marked the one-year anniversary of OHB Hellas establishing new business relationships.

OHB Hellas had the honor to attend and to present its vision and plans at the Information Event on ESA Optional Programmes for Space 19+ organized by the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media.  The event gave to OHB Hellas the chance to make further contacts with the greek space companies, to extend business relationships on a more personal level and to exchange business collaboration ideas.
