OHB Hellas role

The Objective

The Centralised E2E Mission Monitoring System (E2E CMMS) is identified as a pilot project aiming to develop and deploy an end-to-end monitoring system for the Missions supported by the NOC at ESA/ESOC. CMMS constitutes a Proof of Concept, focusing on a small number of Missions (e.g. Cryosat-2, Gaia and Solar Orbiter) and a subset of ground infrastructure (e.g. stations, IT facilities). CMMS provides mission operators with a tool aggregating system messages and errors in a central repository, alerting users as necessary by displaying alarms in a modern dashboard, as well as providing ESOC users with a status overview of the Missions.

OHB Hellas Contributions

OHB Hellas acted as a subcontractor for the project and was responsible for the Software Verification and Validation, as well as DevOps activities.
