Mission Analysis
Introduction
At OHB Hellas, we offer advanced Mission Analysis services that support the design, simulation, and assessment of end-to-end space missions. Leveraging the OHB Group’s four decades of experience as a leading European space integrator, we bring this heritage to Greece, tailoring solutions to national capabilities and strategic needs. Our mission analysis activities cover satellite orbit and trajectory design, coverage and link performance evaluation, and system-level scenario simulations. We work closely with our customers to ensure that every mission concept is technically sound, operationally feasible, and aligned with real-world use cases.
By combining engineering rigor with strategic insight, we help shape space missions that are innovative, reliable, and ready for implementation.

Our expertise
OHB Hellas brings together deep technical know-how and hands-on experience in mission design and simulation. Our team uses state-of-the-art tools such as ANSYS STK and in house post-processing pipelines in MATLAB to model orbital dynamics, assess coverage and connectivity between space, ground, maritime and HAP nodes, and refine mission architectures based on simulation results. We have contributed to multiple funded projects such as CIMR, DUAL-CAM, CMMS, ACROSS-AIR, LEO-DIVE, HSTR, providing expertise to both national and European initiatives. Our iterative approach ensures that simulated scenarios are critically reviewed and optimized to meet mission objectives and stakeholder requirements.
As part of the OHB Group, we combine local agility with access to a broad network of system engineering excellence, enabling us to deliver mission analysis services that are both technically robust and strategically aligned.
